In comparison to last year's widespread growth, budgets in 2009 have begun to tighten. Austerity measures are predicted to continue for the 67% of facilities that are not expecting further budget growth in 2010. On the bright side, hospitals with fewer than 200 beds enjoyed budget growth this year and most facilities expect to see budget increases returning in the next few years.
