PP&P's national survey of 405 directors of pharmacy solicited responses from facilities of various sizes, locations, and levels of automation expertise. The prevalence of automation expertise is increasing as a majority of facilities now have a dedicated pharmacy informaticist on staff. In addition, FTEs dedicated to automation grew this year and are expected to continue doing so.
