Contec releases the EasyCurve Mop, designed specifically for cleaning floors, walls, and ceilings in cleanrooms and controlled environments. Consisting of a flat, fabric-laminated mop head attached to a curved, stainless-steel frame, EasyCurve is compatible with a wide range of disinfectants, solvents, and cleaning solutions. Sterile Alcohol Solution and Hands-Free DispenserDecon Labs now offers CiDehol ST (32 ounce) sterile alcohol solution in a bag/cartridge for use with hands-free infrared dispensers. CiDehol ST 70% IPA solution is made to meet water-for-injection (WFI) specifications with regards to endotoxin levels. Endotoxin testing is performed on all lots of finished sterile alcohol products and results are listed on a lot-specific document shipped with each case. Decon’s sterile alcohol solutions are filtered to 0.2 mm, bottled and double-bagged in a Class 100 cleanroom, and gamma-irradiated and tested for sterility. A hands-free, infrared dispenser is sold separately.

Suspending AgentGallipot introduces SyrSpend SF, a one-step suspending vehicle for oral liquids. A new starch-based technology provides a sweet, sugar-free suspending agent, and because of its low osmolality, SyrSpend SF can result in fewer reports of GI upset, especially from pediatric and geriatric patients. Particulate Filter RespiratorThe Kimberly-Clark N95 Particulate Filter Respirator is NIOSH-approved and provides 95% filtration efficiency of 0.3-micron particles.  The pouch-style mask has a fluid resistant layer and a safety seal film. It features a large breathing chamber with limited facial contact and two polyurethane headbands that secure the mask to the face to help ensure a tight facial seal and prevent leakage around the mask’s edges. Compounding Aseptic IsolatorBaker’s SS800 compounding aseptic isolator (CAI) has two double-glove work chambers connected with an internal pass-through, allowing product hand-off between two technicians in multi-step compounding activities. Internal pass-through doors may be closed, allowing each chamber to operate as a stand-alone single technician (two-glove) isolator. The SS800 features laminar airflow within each of the main work chambers and the pass-through chambers, a sloped front panel for user comfort, and an outer pass-through door for the efficient transfer of materials.
