New & Noteworthy Submission Guidelines

Pharmacy Purchasing & Products welcomes you to submit your latest product and service announcements (press releases) relevant to hospital pharmacy.

  1. Text submission should be between 80-110 words giving specific details on product/service highlights.
  2. State the product/service's significance (saves time/money, provides accuracy, delivers valuable reports), features/benefits, and basic technical specifications. (Hyperbolic language, quotes from vendor or user, and tangential information will be cut.)
  3. Applications should be listed if not obvious.
  4. All trademark (™), service mark (℠), and registration marks (®) are removed by PP&P editorial style mandate.

Images: All entries must include an image (product shot or logo). Computer screenshots are not used unless the screen shows large, clearly legible icons.

  1. All image submissions must be high-resolution (300 dpi) with minimum of 1" x 3" (horizontal) or 2"x 2" (square) image area. Most image types are useable, but .tif, .jpg, and .gif are preferable.
  2. Attach images separately. Images embedded in Word documents are generally not suitable for print.
