While these devices don't enjoy deep penetration across all facility sizes, those using automated compounding devices rate them very highly, suggesting the value, efficiency, and safety delivered by these systems. In fact, when it comes to user satisfaction, automated compounding devices are the highest rated pharmacy automation solution for 2008. |

The implementation of formal medication reconciliation processes is widespread, but satisfaction with these processes is not: 29% of respondents report dissatisfaction with their current system. Conversely, automated medication reconciliation systems, while not yet widely adopted, have much higher ratings: 87% report satisfaction with these solutions.
