With a single click, pharmacists can review patient-specific parenteral vancomycin dose recommendations calculated automatically using key clinical data such as patient weight, laboratory values, creatinine levels, and drug administration times. With this integration, pharmacists have automated access to more precise calculations in a faster time frame. The platform proactively monitors for adjustments to reduce a patient’s risk of acute kidney injury. In addition, pharmacists can leverage Sentri7’s (evidence-based) AMS rules to assess appropriate vancomycin use and keep prescribing in line with antimicrobial stewardship goals and the CDC’s Core Elements of Antimicrobial Stewardship program.
