Germfree introduces its new lead-shielded Radio Rx Isolator for use in radiopharmaceutical applications. Meeting USP <797>, the Radio Rx isolator provides a negative pressure ISO 5 (Class 100) environment, incorporating lead shielding, leaded gloves, leaded viewscreen, and a shielded pass-thru chamber. Included is a lead shielded sharps disposal port that allows sharps to radio-decay before removing for disposal. Ergonomic lift and large oval gloveports allow for easy reach into interior surfaces. The pass-thru chamber, located below the work surface, accommodates standard leaded pigs and has a mechanical assist to help load heavy pigs into the main chamber for processing. The Radio Rx can accommodate generators and be adapted for PET applications.
