Healthcare Data Solutions now offers a real-time prescriber validation tool--Prescriber Validation Subscription Service (PVSS)--to help ensure pharmacy compliance for reimbursement of Medicare and Medicaid prescriptions and to reduce pharmacy's risk of fines and audits. The tool allows real-time search inquiries to nearly two million prescribers to determine if prescriptions can be filled based on current prescriber credentials and practicing status, OIG exclusions, or other sanction activity. Users have access to detailed, customizable PVSS transaction reports of all response messages returned to a pharmacy.
