Q.I. Medical releases the TuffTest 2, a unique microbial contamination tester for use in validating admixtures containing suspensions and emulsions. Each tester contains 100 mL of tryptic soy broth (TSB) for the direct inoculation testing of up to 10 mL of sample CSP. There is also a TSB agar wall for rapid growth promotion of common bacteria, yeasts, and fungi. The TuffTest 2 has a rubber septum cap for sterile inoculation to help reduce false positives.
