CAS DataLoggers offers its Accsense Ethernet Temperature Dataloggers, which alert staff when product temperatures in medical refrigerators and freezers go out of specification. The data loggers support power over ethernet for a lower cost and easier maintenance than traditional wiring, so a wireless gateway is not required. Each temperature recorder has inputs for external sensors, including two resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) and a thermocouple, and also includes a power adapter and ethernet cables. In the event of a power failure or network connection loss, the loggers can run for another six hours on their internal lithium batteries and continue to buffer data.
