Aesynt announces upgrades to AcuDose-Rx, including electronic medical record (EMR) integration, new remote queuing, and wasting features to facilitate access to medications at the point of care. The enhancements enable health care organizations to directly access the system, including remote queuing and wasting functionalities within Epic’s EMR, using a single login while at the bedside. These features improve medication administration workflow for nurses, alleviating the need for multiple trips to and from medication cabinets by providing remote access to medication ordering and wasting processes via PC or mobile workstation; reduce distractions during medication passes; expedite administrative processes and wasting procedures; reduce the window for errors; and increase time at the bedside.
