RxScan introduces the latest release of the RxScan PI (Perpetual Inventory) tracking system, which utilizes an HL7 interface to track medication inventory across all of an organization’s locations. The new, multi-supplier ordering process alerts users if the price for an item is lower from a different supplier. All supplier ordering, receiving, and system-wide transfer requests are managed by the system. RxScan PI stores the EDI Track & Trace documentation required by the Drug Supply Chain Security Act.
