Kit Check announces its new Shelved Inventory Module that uses RFID technology to help manage shelf stock. RFID tags are placed on bins where extra-tagged inventory is stored. The bins are then scanned, providing an instant and accurate inventory count, and identifying any expired or recalled items. Inventory levels automatically update as items move from bins to kits, so the bins do not have to be rescanned. Logging into Kit Check’s application enables users to quickly identify bins below par, as well as the location of expired items or items soon expiring. With one click, pharmacy can generate a reorder report to bring inventory back up to par or review a shelved inventory report for audit purposes.
