Terra Universal's all-stainless steel BioSafe compounding aseptic isolator meets USP <797> requirements for sterile compounding by providing a Class 100/ISO 5 environment that is easy to clean and sterilize. A quiet HEPA filter/fan module directs a continuous wash of unidirectional, particle-free air through the processing area to remove contaminants, including bacteria and other pathogens. A large, ergonomically sloped polycarbonate-viewing window tilts open for transfer of large equipment. Over-sized glove ports allow easy access to the chamber interior, which includes a stainless steel IV rod and waste removal chute. A separate antechamber features a swing-out access door for easy insertion and removal of materials. A fluorescent light fixture is externally mounted.
