Developed in partnership with the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP), ASHP offers a new way to improve medication safety and earn a professional certificate. An online, self-guided program, the Medication Safety Certificate programs teaches the skills necessary to identify and eliminate medication errors. It includes 51 continuing education (CE) hours for pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and pharmacy technicians, and participants may complete a case study analysis to earn an ASHP professional certificate. The program is presented in manageable segments and flexible formats, with both video and written components.
