ARxIUM’s RIVA IV compounding system has been updated with new enhancements that aim to advance the Pharmacy 4.0 initiative (an approach that improves quality, flexibility, speed, and productivity of the pharmacy production process). These applications further improve patient and staff safety, medication accuracy, and pharmacy workflow. New features include a bi-directional interface with other pharmacy systems, multi-language support options, customizable labels and bar codes on compounded sterile preparations, ability to handle multiple types of closed system drug-transfer devices, and enhanced business intelligence and web-based analytics and reporting.
