ICU Medical announces the new Diana Compounding Workflow System (CWS) with the Diana Transfer ChemoLock Set, a sterile, single-use closed system drug-transfer device (CSTD) used to transfer drugs from a drug vial to an IV bag for intravenous drug administration. The Diana System features an automated compounding module with an embedded camera for streamlined remote verification and creation of photographic compounding logs. The module provides accurate high-volume compounding, compliance with USP <800> guidelines with closed system components, and offers a compact, lightweight design for ease of placement in the cleanroom. The system can also automate the process of removing air and filling CADD cassettes, which can save time and reduce repetitive stress injuries.
