Environmental Monitoring Sensor

Sensaphone

A combination temperature, humidity, and CO2 sensor is available to measure and provide real-time values to any Sensaphone monitoring device that accepts a 4-20 mA or MODBUS signal. When the sensor registers that a monitored condition has fallen out of the programmed range, the system sends an alert with the current value to the operator via phone call, email, or text message. The device uses a dual-channel non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor to monitor CO2, a precision thermistor to monitor temperature, and a thermoset polymer-based capacitance sensor to measure humidity levels. Each sensor is encapsulated in a pod that can be replaced by the user. Other features include an LCD display for configuring the sensor and viewing readings. The device is protected from moisture by an IP65-rated enclosure that operators can either mount on the wall or suspend from the ceiling.
