Invistics, a provider of cloud-based software solutions designed to improve inventory visibility and analytics across health care systems, releases a study on the state of drug diversion in the United States. Conducted by Porter Research, the results indicate that three out of five health care professionals are not confident in their organization’s drug diversion program, and 73% believe most drug diversion goes undetected. Over one-third of respondents report that drug diversion prevention and detection is a higher priority now than in 2019. About three-quarters rated machine learning as an effective tool in identifying or preventing drug diversion—up from 65% in 2019. The full report is available online through Invistics.
