Hospira introduces an enhanced TheraDoc clinical surveillance system used to help hos- pital pharmacies improve patient safety and prevent adverse events, such as health care- associated infections. The enhanced system includes new features and functionalities designed to improve user satisfaction, reporting capabilities, and work efficiency. The TheraDoc platform helps hospital pharmacies meet and improve upon evolving quality metrics and national patient safety goals by helping clinicians more easily identify antimicrobial-resistant pathogens and drug-bug mismatches. The additional functionality will mitigate manual sorting of laboratory results and streamline public health reporting.
