NuAire announces that its LabGard ES and CellGard ES Class II Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) use IntelliFlow airflow sensor technology through the use of the TouchLink Electronic Control System. The IntelliFlow airflow sensor incorporates the same thermal anemometer technology used by service technicians to annually verify your BSC’s airflow performance. The certifier calibrates the system, then the TouchLink system maintains and controls the cabinet’s airflow through the use of thermal anemometer airflow sensors manufactured by the measurement solution company TSI, Inc. The IntelliFlow airflow sensors are placed under the supply filter and over the exhaust filter to measure airflow in real time. Airflow data is digitally communicated to the TouchLink system where fan/motor speed is adjusted to provide constant laminar airflow.
