Emporos releases Drive-Through Signature, an app in the MerchantSoft Mobile suite of Web-based mobile applications. The app allows users to capture electronic signatures for prescription logging. After scanning the POS register receipt, the handheld device is passed to the customer to sign. The electronic signature is automatically synced with the POS and is available for reporting, eliminating the need for paper signature logs. The app may be used in a hospital pharmacy environment where scripts are filled in one location and picked up in another, and is designed to work with an Apple iPod or iPhone on a secure WiFi network.
