Line Tracing Labels

Medi-Dose, Inc / EPS, Inc

Medi-Dose/EPS’s high-alert line-tracing labels enable traceability for all IV and catheter lines for any medication. Pharmacy places the entire label on an IV infusion container, and when the medication is administered at the bedside, nursing applies one line label to each end of the tubing. This facilitates easy line traces, improves accuracy, and helps minimize IV line confusion. In addition, a series of new labels that call attention to routes of administration have been added to the product line. These labels draw attention to intrathecal lines, arterial lines, central lines, emergency drug ports, and feeding tubes. Additional line-tracing labels have been developed for a variety of commonly used, potentially dangerous medications. Plus, new general high-alert line tracing labels have been created for those medications not already covered by existing labels. Over 100 formats, drugs, and styles are in stock and ready for immediate shipment. In addition, a customizable line-tracing label is available for laser or thermal printers, which allows pharmacists and nurses to create their own formats to meet specific needs.
