Emporos announces its e2 SaaS-supported point of sale (POS) solution. This cross-plat- form POS system can be run in outpatient pharmacies and offers seamless integration with financial systems and pharmacy management systems with its private, cloud computing platform offering both security and scalability. The POS system features positive ID scanning and touch screen technology and will include an upcoming iPod mobile POS for delivery and other flexible checkout environments. e2 is PA-DSS certified to secure cardholder data and IIAS compliant to accept FSA cards. e2 runs on a Linux appliance or private cloud, both offering internal redundancy.
