Medicure announces the availability of Aggrastat (tirofiban hydrochloride) injection as a concentrated bolus vial. The new 15 mL (3.75 mg) bolus vial is premixed and has a concentration of 250 mcg/mL. Formulated for convenient IV push and single bolus delivery (to be followed by maintenance infusion), it does not require refrigeration, has a 36-month shelf life, and has a pH near neutral. 100 mL and 250 mL (both 50 mcg/mL) are available.
