CriticalPoint has been studying self-reported compliance with USP <797> since 2011. On Wednesday, November 1 at 12:00pm (Eastern), Kate Douglass, MS, RN, CRNI, and Eric S. Kastango, RPh, MBA, will present an overview of this year’s data. Given the recent sterile compounding tragedies and ongoing FDA inspections of hospital pharmacies, pharmacy is not in a position to settle for anything less than full compliance. Getting close is not good enough. To address these concerns, Kate and Eric will provide job aids that can assist pharmacies to focus on important aspects of practice that continue to lag behind.
