PharmEcology Services provides PharmE Waste Wizard, an online solution enabling subscribers to search for pharmaceutical waste disposition information by NDC number, product name, generic name, or ingredient. The system identifies hazardous waste disposal requirements based on federal EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulation as well as local state regulations, if stricter. Recommendations are provided for the appropriate waste stream for each product.
