Kirby Lester announces the 60/30 Combination, a networked and interfaced system that combines the KL60 compact robot with the KL30 dispensing and verification system. The 60/30 Combination allows pharmacies to automate their top 90 medications and verify the accuracy of 100% of their prescription orders. The system has full interfacing to the pharmacy management system for immediate prescription transmissions. The workflow software simplifies the dispensing process, and includes inventory management tools such as barcode verification, onscreen drug images, and biometric scanning for every medication order to help increase medication-dispensing safety. Offering simple training and operation, the system requires just nine square feet of floor space for the KL60 and two square feet of countertop space for the KL30.
