To help promote medication safety in pediatric patients, Medi-Dose/EPS has partnered with the Emily Jerry Foundation to incorporate the Blue Angel warning logo into MILT 3.0 software. The Emily Jerry Foundation focuses on increasing public awareness of key issues related to patient safety and identifying technology and best practices proven to minimize the risk of human error in health care, particularly in pediatric patients. Facilities using Medi-Dose's MILT 3.0 can download and add the Blue Angel logo to their printed unit dose labels, calling attention to medication requiring special care and handling. Separate auxiliary labels with the Blue Angel can also be created. The symbol will soon be available preprinted on any of Medi-Dose's LiquiDose labels.
