As predicted last year, CPOE implementations continued to increase this year, although at a somewhat slower rate than originally projected. Nonetheless, the number of facilities with no plan to adopt CPOE continues to drop. There is a healthy respect for the time and effort required to implement CPOE, reflected in the projected timelines to adoption.
