Physician order imaging systems continued to grow in popularity this year with 47% of all facilities using this approach. While popular in hospitals with all types of distribution methods, they are most common in larger hospitals using a point of care distribution method with a strong reliance on ADCs. However, as more facilities move toward CPOE, adoptions are expected to slow in larger hospitals and eventually be outpaced by those in smaller facilities.
