Smart pumps enjoy widespread usage as a majority of facilities have adopted this technology and many use smart pumps exclusively for their IV pump needs. The devices themselves receive high marks in user satisfaction, reflecting pharmacy's strong involvement in smart pump selection and implementation. However, that satisfaction does not extend to current data collection methods, an area that many pharmacy directors are looking to improve upon.
