Kenneth Latta, RPh, graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1978 with a BS in pharmacy. Since graduation, he has remained employed by Duke University Hospital and has held many positions, including lead pharmacist on the acute pain service, as well as serving as the manager for the Duke Compounding Facility. In February 2011, Ken stepped down from management to a staff compounding pharmacist position in order to concentrate on teaching, mentoring, and consulting. Ken is also the CEO and president of Health System Consulting Group, LLC, and is a surveyor and at large representative on the ASHP Standards Committee for the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board.
