Survey Respondents

State of Pharmacy Automation 2014 - Vol.11 No. 8 - Page #6

This year’s 513 respondents to PP&P’s national survey are a representative group in terms of location and facility size. Of note is pharmacy’s growing commitment to technology advancement, evidenced by the large numbers who have wireless networks in place, regardless of facility size; the continued leaps in adoption of electronic prescribing; and the increasing emphasis on automation and informatics. Not surprisingly, it is still the largest facilities that are most likely to have informaticists on staff and to dedicate the greatest numbers of FTEs to managing automation.
