June 2015 - Vol.12 No. 6 - Page #1

As summer approaches and we see the midpoint of the calendar year on the horizon, it is natural to both assess the quality of the first half of the year, and make adjustments for improvement in the second. As we all know, those adjustments do not always unfold as intended, but bearing toward quality improvement, both professionally and personally, is the point.

In the professional sense, it is always best to keep your tools sharp. The demands facing institutional pharmacy practice today require constant vigilance of process and procedure, as well as a finger on the pulse of improvements and breakthroughs in technology and methodology. The goal uppermost in the minds of our staff at PP&P is to help bring this information to you. To do this, we need you to help by renewing your PP&P subscription today.

We look forward to building our knowledge base of pharmacy benchmark information with the August release of our annual State of Pharmacy Automation survey. To ensure you receive your copy of the survey, visit and update your free subscription information. It takes only a few moments, and those moments are well spent.

All the best,

R. Mitchell Halvorsen
