Pharmacy directors continue to give high marks to their engineering controls, and this satisfaction is reflected in their widespread adoption. 91% of hospitals ensure that their compounding aseptic isolators (CAIs) are certified according to the CETA guidelines. However, the timing of isolator sleeve changes appears to be sporadic at many hospitals.
