Matthew Brown, PharmD, DPLA, MLS(ASCP), is the pharmacy manager of the compounding facility and sterility testing laboratory at Duke University Health System in Durham, NC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and a PharmD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Brown chairs Duke’s sterile preparation oversight, USP 800, and non-sterile regulatory committees. He has been an author or expert reviewer for numerous sterile compounding publications and presentations.
