MiKaela M. Olsen, DNP, APRN-CNS, AOCNS, FAAN, is the clinical program director for oncology at the Johns Hopkins Health System. MiKaela serves as adjunct faculty for the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and holds a Joint Faculty Appointment at the Johns Hopkins University and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is the lead editor for the 3rd edition of the Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice (2023) and the Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs 4th ed (2024), and is the nurse co-chair of the ASCO/ONS Antineoplastic Administration Standards (2024). MiKaela is also the chair of the Johns Hopkins Health System Vascular Access and CLABSI Reduction Committee where she works with a team to harmonize patient care across 6 hospitals in the health system.
