Richard Montgomery, BSPharm, MBA, is the System Director of Pharmacy Contracts and Sourcing at AdventHealth, with responsibility for 56 hospitals across nine states and numerous non-acute care settings. He previously served as system director of pharmacy for AdventHealth Orlando campuses and has contributed 33 years of service to Florida Hospital/AdventHealth in pharmacy operations and leadership roles. He has held leadership positions in state and national pharmacy organizations, including Florida Society of Health System (FSHP) President in 2008 – 2009, FSHP Pharmacist of the Year, Subject Matter Expert for ASHP Biosimilar Project and Supply Cold Chain project. Richard was a member of the Florida Board of Pharmacy and served as chairman for the 2020 sessions and vice chair in 2019 and Richard received a B.S. Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Central Florida. He has completed certificate programs with Wharton and Boston University.
