Medisafe and Omnicell announce a partnership to combine the benefits of the mHealth mobile application and SureMed blister cards, offering pharmacists and patients in the US a tool to ensure the right doses of medications are taken at the right times. Medisafe’s medication management app provides patients with a combination of reminders, support, motivation, and discounts to help them take their medications. The app has resources to improve patient adherence, including educational materials to meet specific needs. Omnicell’s SureMed blister cards, a multi-medication sorting and packaging solution, organize a patient’s medication regime into a series of blisters to be opened at the appropriate time of day.
