Q.I. Medical, Inc releases an FTM version of the TuffTest 2, a microbial contamination tester for use in validating admixtures containing suspensions and emulsions. Each tester contains 100 mL of FTM broth for the direct inoculation testing of up to 10 mL of sample CSP. There also is a reinforced clostridial medium agar wall for rapid growth promotion of anaerobic organisms. A rubber septum cap for sterile inoculation aids in reducing false positives. Each lot is challenged for growth promotion at the point of manufacture with required USP organisms. Certificates of Analysis are available for each lot of TuffTest 2, as well as for all other Q.I. Medical products.
