Medical Packaging Inc (MPI) introduces a serialization and track and trace feature to the 2016 release of  its Pak-EDGE unit-dose bar code labeling software. This feature provides customers with the ability to print individual packages with a unique serial number and bar code, in compliance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). This feature is available for any US customer working toward DSCSA implementation. The serialization update will work with most MPI pharmacy packaging solutions produced since 2009.
