InterMetro Industries Corporation (Metro) announces the sale of its health care technology business to TouchPoint, Inc, effective June 1, 2016. Metro health care technology products include AccessPoint and Flo computer carts, AccessPoint Rx MD mobile medical dispensing carts, the AccessCenter and MedDispense automated dispensing machines, and the MetroMount wall mounting systems. With this acquisition, TouchPoint Medical’s product offerings expand to include mobile computing workstations and automated dispensing equipment used at the point of care. These workstations equip caregivers with patient information and, in some versions, medication at the bedside. The ability to provide bedside care improves patient safety while increasing workplace efficiency and accuracy.
