Swisslog introduces a new interface between Pharmacy Manager, an inventory management software, and other inpatient pharmacy software applications to process load/unload messages when Pharmacy Manager’s inventory is dispensed or stocked. Pharmacy Manager integrates directly with Swisslog automation systems and to static locations such as shelves, refrigerators, and storerooms to provide central medication inventory management for inpatient pharmacies. In addition, the software can integrate directly with electronic health record systems to accept and process verified pharmacy orders. The new functionality will allow for real-time visibility of all on-hand medication inventory synced between Pharmacy Manager and other inpatient pharmacy software applications, enabling timely decisions to optimize stock levels, supporting regulatory compliance, and helping to improve patient safety.
