This lockable, mobile drug disposal cart from Health Care Logistics helps reduce the risk of drug diversion, tampering, and removal of used medication products from traditional waste bins. It allows users to safely and efficiently dispose of used drugs, IV bags, and other patient care products with drop box-style security and convenience. The cart features a pull-out drawer with a baffle for disposal of used medications and supplies. When the drawer is closed, products fall into a waste bin below, from which they can only be accessed when authorized personnel unlock the bottom door. It is not possible for unauthorized personnel to remove the drawer or reach in and pull items out.
