Liebherr Appliances has expanded its MediLine series with the addition of ultra-low temperature freezers (ULTs) designed specifically for medicine, focusing on technology, convenience, and quality. The ULTs are available in two sizes (500-liter and 700-liter and 115 V/60 Hz and a 208-240 V/60 Hz voltage version), with a temperature range of -40°C to -86°C. Offering temperatures that go virtually unchanged for months or even years, the reliability of the cooling system ensures the safety and consistency of stored materials. They are environmentally sound and energy efficient, utilizing green hydrocarbon refrigerants and a unique insulation system. Each ULT is outfitted with adjustable stainless steel storage shelves and detachable stainless steel doors, an emergency notification system to alert the users to temperature changes and power outages, secure access, exchangeable multi-camera door seal, integrated defrost tray, and unloading ramp.
