Fagron Sterile Services, a 503B outsourcing company, expands its offerings to include intravenous (IV) bags. The first products to be made available are fentaNYL, HYDROmorphone, and midazolam. The IV bags are latex-free and individually overwrapped for both product protection and extended beyond-use dating. Controlled medications are tamper-sealed at the administration port to confirm drug identity and integrity. OxyTOCIN and NORepinephrine IV bags are also available, and vancomycin, ketamine, and PHENYLephrine IV bags will be added in the future. Contract manufacturing opportunities are available to prepare IV bags for user-specific requirements.
