HOPA Core Competency modules provide foundational education for pharmacists who are new to oncology or wish to expand their knowledge base. Modules include basic oncology pharmacology, evaluation of chemotherapy orders, medication procurement, safe handling of hazardous drugs, and billing and reimbursement. Other modules address topics such as effective patient education and developing supportive care plans. There are 12 modules offering a total of 12.5 ACPE credit hours, and learning is conducted entirely online.
