The Codonics platform connects preparation, administration, and waste and reconciliation, with the goal of providing pharmacy and other healthcare teams a unified, traceable workflow. The Safe Label System is an FDA-cleared Class II device designed to standardize drug verification and produce Joint Commission-compliant syringe labels during preparation. The SLS-WAVE enables hands-free, bar code-driven documentation into a variety of EHR systems at administration, and the Safe Waste System (in development) is designed to identify, measure, witness, waste, assay, and reconcile liquid controlled-substance waste at the point of care. By integrating these steps, the Codonics platform aims to enhance accuracy, strengthen compliance, support 340B accountability, and provide pharmacy with real-time visibility into perioperative medication use and controlled substance waste.
