The SurfaceShield Wipe Sampling Kit from Eagle is designed as an easy-to-use solution for the detection and quantification of drug residues on surfaces. As a multipurpose kit, it can be used to help achieve and maintain USP <800> compliance by evaluating the effectiveness of a facility’s deactivation/decontamination and cleaning program, engineering controls, and personnel work practices. Samples are analyzed at Eagle, an A2LA ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, using validated methods for hormones, chemotherapy drugs, and hazardous and nonhazardous drugs. Results are provided within 5 to 7 business days, and Eagle’s client portal, EagleTrax, allows users to track samples in real time and trend their results over time.
